Progress in the Barrow’s Style plantation

In 2013 we planted over 5000 trees across the site, mainly in the former quarry and landfill field Barrow’s Style.

Not everything survives of course, especially with some imported ash in the mix. But this year, for the first time, you get a sense of canopy. And thanks to the new paths maintained by our activities partner Moving Mountains it’s now properly accessible for maintenance and inspection.
